Can I say this out loud? I hate indonesian.. seriously, some of them maybe. Some are just ever so nice. This is what I learned from what I experienced today. Very contrast kinds of attitude and the way of treating foreigners. It all occur when I needed to go to Bank Mandiri to get the money that mom sent me through Western Union. I thought that I just needed to go to Sumber Waras, so I took the risk during our recess time. Unfortunately, I was wrong indeed, I'd have to go to kampus A trisakti which is like damn far. I was so tired and I was afraid if I'd be late for my 1 pm lecture. So , I was thinkin of taking a bajai in front of Sumber Waras. The bajai driver asked me where I'm heading to and how much will I pay. Usually, I'd have to pay 5 ribu rp. So I told em that, and he said " ngga bisa, kampus A jauh di depan itu.. 10 ribu ". And I was like ****ing *** betul, mentang2 aq orang Malaysia . Dah la aq ni tengah dilanda kemiskinan yang melampau. So, I said to him, 'ngga pa2 la pak'. And I walked away, having burnt heart. So I walked in front of the fac and got a bajai there instead, for 5 ribu rp only. And that pak didn't even ask me how much i am willing to pay. He excepted my money without a fuss.
I arrived in kampus A and I asked the pak guard, where I can find Bank Mandiri. He told me the way nicely. And I was a bit relieved that there are people who actually respect me as a human. Inside the bank, I was told to have a sit while waiting for my turn to the WU desk. I waited for quite a long time, about 15 minutes really. But I just waited patiently, since that I really want to show these people that Malaysian are good and prude. After suffering from the slowness of the service, I was asked to the desk... and no wonder the service was like damn slow, HE IS A TRAINEE. I was asked to fill the form and all. He even had to typed in everything all over again cuz he typed so slow that the internet and submit service cannot except my first customer form. Not just that, he was helped by another staff somemore. BUT, through all these bloody time which was wasted, this trainee guy had been extremely prude and very berbudi bahasa gitu. He is such an angel. I almost fell in love with him while we talked bout the bank system and when he took the chance to promote me their new customer plan while waiting for the bloody money to be withdrawn. I came out of the bank happily with smile and good greetings from the bank workers. I spent all 2 hours of my recess time to withdraw the money. But I am happy that I met him. He is ever so nice. I wish I could meet someone as angelic as that, a malaysian hopefully. Nak g bank mandiri more often la..ngee. BTW, I never want to forget his name...ANDRI.
